Why we do what we do?
Sangeeta Darvekar Charitable Trust was formed in the Memory of Sangeeta Darvekar,
sister of Dr Suwas Darvekar.
Established in 2003, the NGO works in two main areas.
1. Assisting the students in Tribal Areas and curtailing school dropout.
and
2. Oral Cancer Awareness and Dangers of tobacco use

He is the heart and soul of the NGO contribution two days of every week to the charity. It is his combined effort with Vidya Darvekar that this charity is able to do such stupendous work, without any full time employee.
She is the backbone of the charity, managing the entire backend part.
An highly accomplished dental surgeon and backbone of our charity. He is associated with us since the inception of the charity, i.e. 2003
A well known chartered accountant practising since 45 years and a man with a heart of gold.
Always ready to support the charity in any which way. He is associate with us since last 15 years.
He is an MBA, International Chess Coach, and a gem of a person. He is associated with us since 2015.
A reputed Gynaecologist and an amazingly humble person. Associated with us since 2015 and specializes in our lectures on 'Sex Education and Sexual Abuse,
He is anElectrical Engineer having my his Project Consulting firm since last 25 yrs. He is an Adventure lover n an Avid Cyclist n Runner .He has been associated with our charity since last 2016 .
Dr P D Shirke is part of SDCTs oral cancer prevention and tobacco cessation efforts. He has done his masters in Oral Medicine from Govt Dental College, Mumbai & certification in Tobacco Control from Johns Hopkins University, USA .
